Marco Polo, Park Street

It was by second visit to Marco Polo. From food to Ambience and services, everything was top notch. We had their signature dishes prawn cocktail, Grilled vetki, Vetki A La Muniere, Moon Faan Fried Rice with Chicken in blackbean sauce. Food was yumm and service was prompt. Finished off with brownie and icecream for dessert.

The food was delicious. The staff was in a hurry to get the order and kick us out although the restaurant was empty. They mentioned the kitchen is closing but customers were coming in and they were taking orders. No explanation for the hurry to us. Payment via QR code is not available :/

I loved the theme of the restaurant cum bar. Loved the structure more. It's unique and appealing if you want silent yet cozy and dim lights. The food was scrumptious and the service was great. The staff were cordial. The atmosphere, relaxing....

Marco Polo is in the heart of parkstreet and offers a extensive menu for foodies. Let's get into a detailed review. Food : 4.3/5 It has soups, appetizers, main course, desserts, beverages that stretches from continental to Chinese to Indian. So cuisine wise it's quite generous. It has lot to offer and specializes in prawn and varied fish items which I found really amazing. I went for continental and was not disappointed. But I would say that Indian kebabs could be a little better. It has a Standart bar as well. You can go for quick drinks or lazy wine sipping with side dishes of your choice. The atmosphere will not disappoint you. Gin, tequila, whiskey, scotch and most Standart drinks are available. Service: 5/5 I usually deduct points for service but Marco Polo is exceptionally good with me. May be because when I visited, I was the sole customer, so got quick and attentive services. But I found the service remarkably good and courteous. Also, they are quite quick in preparing and serving and clear out plates after each meal. Liked this attitude!! Ambience: 4/5 Its an Standart old Kolkata vibe with modern enhancement. Since I was the only one present at the time, I got a chance to explore the facility freely and it's amazing. It has two separate area, a upstairs dinning place and downstairs bar. So you don't have to worry about any chaotic issues of the bar if you don't drink. It's soothing I would say... Go for it.. It's worth one visit...

Me and my friend visited this place. We went on weekdays. So it was mostly empty. We ordered chelo kebab platter, betki la musenia and mutton (forgot the exact name) and brownie with ice cream. Food was overall good quality. But ambience was not that good.

I had a precious Sunday dinner with my family at Marco Polo. The place has decent vibes, but let's talk about the prices. The charges are high for the quality of food, which was overly disappointing. We ordered the prawn cocktail, which was just okay. Then we tried the crispy chili baby corn, but it was overcooked to the point that I couldn't even push a fork into it, which I personally didn't like. Next, we ordered their signature dish called Bhetki a la meuniere, but I didn't enjoy it because the fish was overcooked. We also tried the fish and chips, but it tasted like just crunchy fish fry. Honestly, I'd prefer roadside fish fry over this, as it was the worst taste I've ever experienced. We did try the creamy chicken soup and Lamb Chops which was decent enough. However, after all this, they charged us extra. Overall, I was really disappointed with the experience at this restaurant.

It's a good restaurant..with very good service and good food..it's quite silent here with very premium ambience and light music..good place to enjoy drinks..this place is located conveniently at Park Street..Finding Parking is a bit issue though..

We went there to a bustling Nobomi night, ofcourse we had to wait but the waiting list was much less than the other restaurants of Park Street. The food whatever we had were excellent and they didn't compromise on the quality, quantity and the service time even when it was one of the most busy night of the year. Cocktails were great as well, the betki quality was top notch. The chicken kabab - oh my god! Just melts in your mouth.
