Flavour of Dooars, Rail Coach Restaurant

We have a lot of expectations by seeing the ambiance and location, but we are totally disappointed by the food and services. Below average level of food, unprofessional services, infact local quality water bottles are used. But the restaurant ambiance is too good and tanddori Chai was pretty good. Also, no real marked place for car parking is available there. I want to draw kind attention of Railway.

Worst experience ever... Prices are "overpriced" , rude and "short tempered Staff", and most importantly the taste of food is " just Tasteless ". With this kind of staff, this thela cant run for long. I am sure they dont have even a single repeat customer. .. Stay Away from this thela... Its a scam.. Beware

The chilli chicken we got served had hair in it and that's okay, after all mistakes are made by humans but the staff just seemed unbothered by that fact. Moreover, the chilli chicken had more bone in it than chicken and chilli chicken in itself is a boneless dish. Just a heads up don't order any main course meals there. Use this place as a small snacks break type outlet and you won't be disappointed much.

The environment is superb. Food is a mixed bag. Overall, an enjoyable experience!

Really nice place to vibe and chill and we ordered Hyderabadi chicken and it was no way near that, it was really bad, and half of the item on the menu was not there

The newly opened restaurant Flavour of Dooars is a Coach Restaurant located just in front of Rajabhatkhawa Station, Alipurduar District. Rajabhatkhawa is a forest village known for its beautiful greenery and serene atmosphere. Tourists from West Bengal and other states also visit Rajabhatkhawa regularly. The Coach Restaurant is designed gorgeously both in its interior and exterior. Initial issues like lack of menu card is there which will soon disappear. Tea & coffee are simply superb here. A large white board (5/4 ft) is full of too many items. I believe well selected menu options are a better way to maintain the quality and consistency. If you keep too many items and say not available; that creates bad impression. The waiters need to be little bit trained to serve perfectly. In the midst of Buxa Tiger Reserve, this restro is a welcome change.

We ordered masala chai and cold coffee, the taste was decently good.

It's a very nice place to visit. Natural calmness of this Rajabhatkhawa area is awesome.
