Hoichoi Cafe & Family Restaurant

The Bengali thali was a treat! Every item from shukto to dal, aloo bhaja, and chutney was packed with authentic flavors. Fresh, comforting, and perfectly balanced. The doi at the end was just divine. A must-try for veg food lovers!

The staff's behavior was quite disappointing. They seemed to be constantly staring at the guests, which made us uncomfortable. While it's understandable that they need to keep an eye on the guests, excessive staring isn't necessary. We ordered veg hakka noodles, but they didn't provide sauce and chutney with it, which was unprofessional. However, the food was tasty and served in good quantity.

I ordered a special veg thali (image given). Price was 130/-. Items were delicious. Service was also nice. A must try one. They have enough versatility in their menu. Also I have tried butter nun with paneer butter masala.... It's awesome in taste. If you get a chance to be there, plz try any item there.

Visited today for lunce. We tried mutton thali. It was incredible. Taste and presentation is top notch. Kept the flavours authentic. Loved it.

We went to Shantipur for shopping and it was almost lunch time and summer season.. we were super hungry and asked few locals about good AC restaurants and most of them suggested Hoichoi. Though the atmosphere is little cozy garden house type, the food is amazing. Service is a little slow but the food quality and quantity compensate for everything. Most importantly the price range, it's unbelievable that they are providing such good quality food with AC seating and proper staff under this price range. We ordered chilli mushrooms for starters, for main course Schezwan mixed noodles, chicken hakka noodles, chilli chicken(8pcs for 120rs), chicken biriyani(160rs with 1pc chicken aloo and egg with decent amount of rice), tandoori roti, kadai chicken(4piece 120rs) The bill was 1075 only for this all menu and we were full and unable to finish all the food for four persons. So my suggestion will be order in less quantity at first because their quality and quantity is really good. Next time whenever I go to Shantipur this is going to be my go to restaurant...

Sorry to say that I'm so disappointed about there behaviour like I was ordered 6 plate of chicken Biriyani, when I served my plate in that 2pice of chicken came with some curry. Soo I asked one staff that this is not looks like a Biriyani chicken can u tell which chicken it is. She actually don't know ,then I told her to call who knows about it then one lady came and I asked her she told me that it's curry cut chicken . Before they served that they should ask right, If I want curry chicken then why I should order Biriyani. And that Biriyani test also is very bad . Please trend ur staffs how too behave with customers...

The worst service I ever had in a restaurant. The tables were dirty. Customer service was horrible. Frequent loadshedding while We were eating. Most 3rd class service. I would suggest you don't come here if you don't want a mess.
